about me

I am a professional photographer based in Saffron Walden, Essex, specialising in contemporary children's portraits. I am also a mum to two little girls who have patiently modelled for me since birth and are a constant inspiration.

My love of photography first started when I was a child. My father was a keen photographer and made all his prints up in his darkroom; I thought it was all a kind of magic and the fascination has stayed with me.

Whilst I now mainly work with digital nowadays, I still love using my old film cameras and I have a passion for Polaroids. I also have a weakness for vintage style and I love to get creative in my photography sessions and in my digital darkroom.

As well as photographing children and families, my work has also been commissioned by Tesco, NHS, Practical Parenting and Your Family magazines.

I hold the licentiateship qualification of the Master Photographer’s Association, the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the World Wedding and Portrait Photographers Association. I am also the current Fujifim Portrait Photographer of the Year.

I am really passionate about what I do and hope this comes through in my work.
